I am happy to announce that Free Chol Soo Lee, a film that I composed music for, won the Emmy for Outstanding Historical Documentary at the 45th News & Documentary Emmys!
 Tonight, 7:30ET! The 45th News and Documentary Emmys will decide if Free Chol Soo Lee deserves Best Documentary or Outstanding Historical Documentary! We are in excellent company. Keep your fingers crossed! I spent Friday the 13th with the illustrious Sarah Bell Reid, hosted by Yardwork Presents & SLC Synth Alliance at Atelier Mill. So honored to have "Divide," my graphic score based on mountains at the Idaho-Montana border, played by this amazing quartet: John Bischoff (computer & electronics), Kevin Corcoran (percussion & electronics), Suki O'Kane (percussion) and Shanna Sordahl (amplified cello). It was a really fabulous night, hoping to bring this ensemble inland in 2025.
 May 12: my first show in the Bay Area since 2019 -- as part of West Oakland Sound Series. Can't wait!  Premiering at Hot Docs in Toronto in less that one week...!  My latest film score is in the International Competition! So excited to meet the team in Toronto to celebrate the premier and promote the film. Hopefully, we'll get distribution so you can see the film in your town. Panel discussion and Q&A after a screening – how fun is that? Great event SLC!
